How many of you men would leave a long term girlfriend (no kids) that you lived with if you genuinely fell in love with someone else? Say this new girl was everything you ever dreamed of and felt the same way. You thought she was your soulmate? Would your feelings win out or what?

Yes, I did for my lady, who's now my ex, careers!!!
I was madly in love with a girl, were together for four years then this girl came into my life, who is my soulmate, totally my opposite number in life an it was no contest, even though I was in love with my partner I couldn't escape the level of understanding and connection that I have with this girl.
Its absolutely crazy, I was so committed to the girl I was with, it hurt like hell giving that up, but when you know you know.

It would be very difficult. It all depends on how your feeling are about your present partner. You can't help how your feelings go but if I was in a very strong relationship then it would take someone very very special to prize me away from them. And cheating and seeing both at the same time is never an option with me. No way.

I would leave because i would only end up hating my long term girlfriend and if you had falling in love with another girl then the relationship between LTG and myself would be over anyway.

Yes. If I felt so little for my current girlfriend then there wouldn't be much point in continuing and making myself and her unhappy. If I was married or had children then I would start counselling rather than destroy my marriage with an affair.

if you were unhappy with the long term girlfriend and think that this other girl is the one.I would say go for it.If it didn't work out with the other girl. Then you know you were meant to be with the long term girlfriend.Good luck.
