Books? cars? romance? sports? travel? art? theatre? music? I don't know why but I can't seem to find any point of interest of mine that overlaps with Gods...can you?

Usually if you have any interest whatsoever in a person you show an interest in what interests them, so that's why I wonder...is God not really interested in us at all.

God is interested in all those things. Fashion, especially the creation of new fashion, is the very essence of God, Who is the Creator. Check out the Dances of Universal Peace if you want to find out how God relates "and is interested" in music, travel, art, etc.

God is interested in plainer, more modest fashion, romance that leads to marriage, good art, music and theater. I don't think God is a fan of the average TV show.

HE is interested in our hearts and what we do with our life, not the petty stuff about fashion and cars...HE does care about what we care about and what we are going through..
