You're probably gonna need more than a professional unless you bought a new pc to go with the Vista. From the reviews I've read, all your drivers will be outdated, plus Vista requires Vista-compatible hardware (especially a super duper video card) to take advantage of all its features.

I doubt all the manufacturers have upgraded their drivers yet, so you're in for a real treat if you do this.

dont touch it yet its too soon if you want it to look like vista try going to http://www.wesearch4u.webeden.co.uk/ its a new site got loads stuff there and go in there main menu download vista transfomation pack 6 this will change the look of your pc and it should me stable
i use it myself after having proper vista installed im on a good pc and had loads of driver problems hope this helps good look ooooooh its free as well see ya!

You do not need a professional if you are computer savy. If you know how to install other software, you can instill the new OS (Operating System). Just do what you normally do when you install software. Make sure you backup your computer though.
