Is there a way to rotate/flip a video that was recorded on my camera?

Yes. Import video into Windows Movie Maker and apply the proper rotation from the Video Effects menu.

Either that or tilt your monitor or TV on its side when viewing that particular shot.

Then promise to never shoot video sideways again.
