I suggest u join CBSE. CBSE portion is a lot better than SSE portion in the perspective of competitve exams. I myself had joined CBSE for +2 after passing out from the ICSE board.

CBSE is the Best option, I suggest. State Board - Politicians keep changing the Educational policies evry now and then, the Student will be in dilemma whether to take Entrance Exam. for Engineering/Medical Coleges in that state. CBSE is accepted at all states across India and easy even if you have to take up any Entrabce Exam. at any state.

OK i did my 10th in C.B.S.E. and now i am doing +2 in C.B.S.E.

I would recommend u to join CBSE as--
1 If u want to go for engineering u would directly prepare for the A.I.E.E.E.(All India Engineering Entrance Exam) exam in the course
2 if u want to B.S.C. the first two yrs of study is completed in this portion.
3 if u want to do commerce the first 2 yrs of ur B.C.O.M. are covered in the portion
4 it is easier to give any entrance exam after doing C.B.S.E. then doing state board.

Though by taking C.B.S.E. u increase the burden of the two yrs u actually drastically decrease the load on u when u have to prepare for ur professional exams as well as study for ur degree so i recommend C.B.S.E.
