This video is quickly making its way around the globe, and without surprise, finally made it on the Oprah Show this morning. It has been proven, that any New Age philosophy presented with excitement and popularity, will quickly catch on with the masses.
There are groups who call themselves Christians, and study from the Bible, such as New Thought Christian Rev. Michael Beckwith who appears in "The Secret" dvd. However, these "Christians" actually hold a Panentheistic belief system....much different than what's taught in God's Word. These days it's important to ask people who claim to be Christians, how they define Christianity.
However, if you are a Christian who believes In one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. what are your thoughts concerning those who believe the principles from "The Secret" can be mixed with Christianity, without straying from God's Word?

Note: If you are a New Thought Christian, you are welcome to comment as well, but please do so without defensiveness, and also explain why you do not believe in ONE God existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Though I disagree with your beliefs, I'd like to hear your explanation of how you view: GOD.

Yes this is a metaphysics stance. They focus on Universal Laws, and stress that humans have the ability to create and choose their destiny in all ways through thought alone. This is subtle teaching of pride which is what led Satan to rebellion.

Hi Kathryn, I noticed that you recently joined to respond to this question, so it must have stood out to you for various reasons.
Though you mean well, God's Word is not to be compromised. Some of the points you mentioned in favor of this dvd, is exactly how false teachings enter the church, and deceive less aware Christians.
It's impossible to preach the Word of God correctly without someone feeling EXCLUDED. Attempting to jazz up a message, or make it more exciting to appease the senses, at the expense of diminishing the importance of God, is a sign of the antichrist spirt. It's subtle.
An anti-christ spirit, is anyone who preaches or teaches contrary to God's word...a false prophet.
