Yes the trouble originates from the Rich in Mexico who were always supported by the United States so that Communist may not come into power.But those rich also exploited the poor masses for generations now and Catholic Church was also a very integral part of this scheme.So those poor in order to survive have no way except to illegally immigrate to United States or adopt a life of Crime.I think a lot of consideration must be given on this very complex and intricate subject by various think tanks that are operating in United States before it is too late.
