You shouldn't diet while you are pregnant, I have 4 kids. It is good to watch what you eat, but sometimes you can't help but to eat what you crave for. But if you are worried about gaining weight, find out through your doctor how much weight should be gain. Then go from there. You make sure eat plenty of fruits and veggies and drink plenty of water. If it bothers you alot about the weight gaining, eat 6 small meals a day, even when your not hungry. That will help you. Just don't over eat. Most people that are pregnant tend to over eat because they know they are pregnant.

DO NOT try to lose weight while you're pregnant! Just eat right and you won't gain too much. If you are at a normal weight now you should aim for a 30 pound gain. "Eating for two" is a load of crap...think about how small that second person is. You only need about 300 extra calories a day.

The first trimester is so important for the health of your baby. Think about it...would you rather look good or risk your baby's health? If you really need to lose weight you can do it after the baby is born.

Why would you be trying to lose weight while pregnant? Your going to gain weight no matter what! Losing weight while pregnant is stupid and could harm your child! The weight gain is a sign that your baby is healthy. Don't worry about losing weight until after the baby is born!

You shouldn't diet while you are pregnant - but if you get really good nutrition in low calorie form, you never know. A friend of mine used a shapeworks nutrition programme through her pregnancy. She was really fit and well all the way through, no morning sickness, hardly put on any extra weight and had a really healthy baby!!

You absolutely should not consider starting a diet while pregnant. Your baby is just beginning to develop and needs all the nutrients possible. You could harm him/her if you don't eat well.
