No it is not alright. Get a divorce if you are unhappy, then go date or sleep around or whatever it is you are planning.
I see far too many cheaters with the excuse oh he/she was neglecting me, or was never home. That is no excuse. either buy a vibrator or leave if you are unhappy

What an insecure little girl you are. Why do you want a man friend? So you can get close to him and do something that you will regret. Is your husband away on business? How would you feel if he needed a lady friend? You already know the right and the wrong thing to do, make your choice.

If your husband is out of the country, get a hobby. Get together with the girls to play cards, book club, whatever... Stay out of the bars and stay away from other men.
You are asking for trouble. Just because you are lonely, doesn't give you the right to stray and look for other men's attention. You know where this will lead.
If you don't want to be left behind, divorce your husband and then find someone to be with.
Do not disrespect him or cheapen yourself.
married women can't have just male friends, and you know it.
You are not kidding anyone here including yourself....

I don't think you'd want him to have a Female friend. Keep your Heart in Line with your Love. He'll be back. You have plenty of trusing Friends, around you now. You don't need to mess things up. Love is in The Heart. Not your Loneliness.
