You've given her control of the relationship, plain and simple. Sex has been medically proven to reduce stress, and get rid of a headache. Sounds like you may have one of the following problems:
1. Partner is cheating
2. Likes controlling the relationship with sex
3. You're being punished for something that pissed her off

It's not stress..... She realizes she has the "power"!!!!!.... And is not afraid to let you know it by her actions... The way to change that...... Is the next time you get some you give it to her like she has never had it Before!!!!!! Slow,long, hard and strong and then she will be beggin for more.... Just a thought....Peace.....

Perhaps you could try to be supportive and ask if there is anything you could do to help releave some of the stress - which does not involved sex!!!

not all women find sex to be the stress reliever men do... i sure don't, sometimes it can make me even more stressed (if i'm not in the mood and end up giving in because of constant pestering)

Why do men act like they are gonna die if they dont get laid ? sex is not love the sooner you realize this the better off you will be. you give us that power so deal with it.
