She will probably receive a phone call or two,, nothing more. That man will be placed on a nationwide list of all government agencies once he goes past the 30 day mark. When he gets pulled over by the police or applies for any government program they will have him. She is no longer a part of the picture. Unfortunately she can no longer get her benefits from the military as well. Sorry to hear about all of this trouble.

As has been said, the Marines may contact her and ask her some questions, but that's about it. She is not responsible for her husband's actions, and they will not hold her as such.
She can get on with her life, because it's not her that the Marines have a problem with - it's her loser husband who ran out on both her AND the Marines.
He's slime. Tell her to divorce his butt and get on with her life.

They will look for her, but to question her. Basically, to get some information on why he might have gone UA. She isn't in trouble, unless she knows or has helped him while he was UA.
His income should stop while he is UA, so she won't have that coming in. Also, if she is living on base/post or whatever the Marine Corp calls it, they might have her move off because he is UA.

Nothing unless she has knowledge of his whereabouts and they can prove it, like she mailed him a letter, called him, or e-mailed him (ip addresses can be tracked) etc. Other than that nothing, I'm a Marine and I have to say this, if she knows she should give the coward up. No offense but I'm a Marine and he knew the consequences when he enlisted and the repercussions.

He WAS a Marine. I am sure any Marine will tell you they no longer consider him a Marine since he deserted. As long as she is not hiding him, they would only question her, and not "mess" with her.

They will look her up and talk to her. They will ask if she knows where he is. They cannot do much more than that. She is not suject to the Uniform Code Of Military Justice as he is.

Probably question them and burn up the phone lines. By the way, tell your sister that I am sorry that she married a turd.

She has nothing to worry about except maybe a few calls or visits to ask her if she has seen him.

I am sure they would want to talk to her about her husband.
He is a criminal like all criminal cases they ask questions of family and friends.
