My son has eczema and when he first got diagnosed he got diprobase and it's crap

i took him for a 2nd opinion and he got fucibet for his body, hydrochorizone for his face, dermol 600 for his bath and epiderm for washing with and within a few days his skin started clearing up.

Don't use anything with lanolin in it,e.g E45, as this can flare your eczema up

Hope this helps

You need an antiestemene tablet for the itching a good one is Certirine hydrochloride tablets 10mg cost £3.99 from chemist ask the pharmastist first due to you other medication but should be ok. You take one a day and helps itchy skin no end.
You may need a blood test off doctor to make sure nothing underline is causing the itching but it sounds like your exama is the cause of it as it is very itchy.
Keep all perfume/deodrant/bath/shower stuff away from the skin and also wash clothes in a non biological detergant you can buy washing poweder without all the chemicals in.

My daughter had this problem and the doc gave her some solution to put in the bath and it helped her a lot, all i can say for now is to try and wash yourself in a neutral soap like dove, and try some Calamine Lotion too which is great for itches !.

Hello, Sorry to hear you are suffering so much , Have you tried Hydrocortozone cream , this should help. But I do think you should go back to your GP as soon as possible and get him to reefer you to a specialist

i have the same prob..on my arms and esp my legs....i thought it was to do with my hair growing back after i had shaved them...but have ruled that out...
it started when i got bitten on my leg about 17 years ago . and has been getting worse ever since...the Dr said that it was all in my mind and i was trying to get attention....i told him no way and why would i want to do that as i use to love wearing short skirts now i can only wear trousers.....there is nothing you can do about it you just have to try not to scratch it....i know its diff not to but try ....

best wishes to you .....
