You didn't say how old the sitter is and I think that matters but as a rule of thumb I would give 5 dollars an hour per child but if its at your house your providing food and entertainment then 20 dollars should be good enough.

I usually pay 4 to 8 dollars an hour, depending on the sitter and what I am doing.

I would pay your neighbor at least $2.50 per hour per child, or $5 per hour, which comes to $15 total. It doesn't matter whether there are any 'diapers' involved, or that you provide them 'pizza and a movie' ... these children are 'too young to take care of themselves' and you must 'provide good care' for them ... and I think that since they are your 'heirs' you should pay a 'decent price' for doing well what you would do 'for free.'

I pay my sitter 3 dollars an hour, since you have 2 I would add another 50 cents to a dollar. Since you are suppling pizza and a movie. It is very reasonable.

i would say atleast 7 dollars an hour. Even though there are no diapers - its still work.

it also depends on her age - usually for younger kids they will be happy with whatever (16 -25) - but if its an adult (25 +) pay a little more

dont forget - shes your neighbor - you dont want to look cheap! you will be seeing her a lot! haha

Pay 8-10$ an hour, leaning towereds the 10$ side... Thats the normal price... I remember this one time a friend of the family had her daughters wedding and they all went to a bar after so they hired me and my friend [thats two 16 year olds] to watch about 10-12 kids for about 6hours while they were out and she only paid us 25$ each. I don't babysit for her now lol, we were so mad.
