They are both just bread and sausages, but i would NEVER put brown sauce on a hot dog, though i might consider ketchup on a sandwich one of these days.
Is it just me?

No you are absolutely right. You cannot put brown sauce on a hot dog but you must on a sarnie !

Well I love both bacon and sausage so does my girl friend so normaly i will do both and have half each. I always have HP Brown sauce as its the best. Onions is a must with both, and i do love having an egg on top when I have a sausage sandwich. Crusty white bread is also a must!

Yikes! Brown sauce on a hot dog - sacrilege!! Although Nigel Slater- the chef only has mustard on his hot dog and no ketchup! That's plain weird! Bacon sandwiches are fab with ketchup- just make sure the bacon is extra crispy! I don't like brown sauce..but my brother loves it!

Bang on! Though I once put brown sauce on a hot dog cos there was no ketchup. . . It just wasn't the same! Mustard on a hot dog isn't too bad . . .

Yep I m with you on this one. Sometimes though, I do put both in a sausage sandwich but I will only put ketchup on a hotdog.

No way! why would you ruin a perfectly good sausage sandwich with Brown sauce. ketchup rules all sauces and I feel very passionate about it :-)

I always have brown sauce and pepper on my sausage butty of a friday morning, but ketchup and onions on a hot dog.

To true will always put brown on my sarnie and red on my hot dog. I also like masses of oinion on my hot dog but would never put onion on my sandwich i prefer an egg with brown sause and has to be daddy sause brown and heinze red how strange is that?
