Angle of projection is the point from which the subject of the drawing is viewed. to help you understand this, imagine that you are drawing a 3D object. choose a point anywhere on the page. this is your view point, now make horizon marks anywhere on the sides of the page, from your view point draw all vertical lines straight up and down the page, and all horizontal lines to the horizon points. the nearest vertical line will be in line with the view point. the desired angle of your drawing will determine how high on the sides of the page you will place the horizon marks. think of taking a snapshot of building, if you where to draw the building from the picture, the angle of projection would be from where you were standing when you took the snapshot.
