Does anyone know the price range for a Roux-En-Y gastric bypass surgery!?

I have tried diets and exercise and nothing has worked and i am seriously considering the surgery! HELP!

I would not suggest a roux en y because once it is done, it is permanent and its not reversible. I am sure lap banding would be a better idea because its a less invasive surgery and the bands can be taken off or re adjusted.
My girlfriend died from roux en y surgery the morning after it was done. She threw a clot. She left a 6 yr old child motherless with an alcoholic father.
Please re consider.
