This man has never said I am beautiful but comments on my clothing saying they are nice. He always finds a way to make a compliment about me being brainy every time I see him. Very smiley, lots of eye contact with a smirk and looking down after a fairly long time? Is this embarrassment? Does he fancy me or what? Lots of answers needed to get an accurate idea. Thanks!

This man is not gay. He recently broke up with a girl and it was quite a long living together relationship. I can't see him being gay!

He probably really likes you and does feel a little embarassed that you caught him looking at you in an adoring fashion. That is what you described. He thinks at the least that you are attractive or he wouldn't compliment you. He could also be a little intimidated by your looks ? Who van figure these guys out?

I would say that he likes you. He's probably shy about his feelings so that's probably why he doesn't compliment your physical traits because then that would be too obvious.
