Which chinatown. There is a huge one in queens. If you are talking about the one in Manhattan, it depends on where you are going in queens.

If you want to go from Chinatown Manhattan to Chinatown Queens, it will take >1 hour by subway, or 20 minutes by one of the little van services they have.

I'm not sure which subway the earlier poster is taking, but there's no way it takes over an hour to get to Queens from Chinatown--or anywhere in Manhattan for that matter. Chinatown is just across the river from Brooklyn. The quickest way to get to Queens is to take the 4 or 6-train north to 51st St and then transfer to the E-train. The E runs express. Once you're on the E-train, you'll be in Long Island City (the start of Queens in 1 minute, Astoria in 5, and Jamaica in under half an hour.

... Also realize that there's a second (and in many ways more authentic) Chinatown in Flushing, just west of Shea Stadium in Queens.
