He's focussed on you to the point that he's not interested in spending time with family and friends and won't let you do anything on your own.
All I can say is you are choosing the wrong partners. I hate it when girls get like that and won't let me have time to myself and to spend time with my friends and family (which is nice to do without a partner by your side sometimes). I think what you're dealing with is just a bit of jealousy and insecurity, which is a fairly common problem with girls and guys. All you can do is make sure he knows he can trust you and that
a) you're not going to cheat on him if he's not keeping an eye on you and
b) it really doesn't matter if other guys hit on you while he's not there to keep an eye one you, because you have him and are a big enough girl to tell that to any other guys that might hit on you.

I think you are saying that your male mate has closed you out of his life 1/2 the time when he is with friends and family, and the other half he needs you 24/7. Leave him alone more often, and let him "do his thing" and then you wont have to worry about the trivial crap, and can focus on the relationship. and a english Class instead of continuing with your current "bad Ebonics!"
