Triple distilled vodka is a type of vodka that has been filtered and strained three times note the triple it basically is more pure and smoother than other vodka and it has a a smoother taste.

The current zeitgeist seems to dictate that triple or quadruple distillation leaves you with the ideal vodka-- perfect for mixing, precisely because it is so utterly without character.

When distilling Vodka they run it through a char coal filter like the ones used for water at home. Triple distilled is just passed through that filter three times. The goal is to have the least smell and cleanest taste so the more you repeat the process the better the quality.
