I've been with the same man for 18 years and some of those days gone by I wished I had never even met that man. But the truth of it is, that no matter what, good and bad, I chose to work through the hard times with him and be true to my commitment and to my love. We spent time talking about things that bothered us in our relationship and hurt each others feelings more than once, but found that around the corner, it will work if you try to make it work. I had to put away resentments and wishes for ill will and even eat crow, but so did he. We found the way together. Love, or even call it "perfect love" only exists in your mind, not in reality. Staying together means working together, communicating your need to each other, working out issues that create stress in your lives together. Falling out of love is, in my opinion, something that only happens if real love wasn't there to begin with. If love is true, nothing should stop the two of you from solving all your problems together. Keep working at it!

Yes people can indeed change from being in love to not being in love anymore. Love is like a flower, if not tended to properly it starts to wither and die. Sometimes with a lot of work and patience, people have been known to be able to rekindle the love they once felt.

It is possible for this to happen. People sometimes go into those slumps where they dont want to be physically close to the other person, BUT this is a red flag.
Usually when its real love, you'll never dislike the other person. You might feel lazy to have sex or get physically close, but you would never get sick of the other person.
These slumps could turn into more, or they can help you realize how much you care for the other person when you try to distance yourself from them.

Yes, you can fall out of love. But maybe you guys just need some 'space'. I know you mentioned that you're married. When I say 'space' I mean separate activities. Have you thought about re-kindling the fire this Valentine's? I wish you guys luck!

I took space from my girlfriend 4 months ago who states it was true love, but will not want to work on getting back together with me. So, I do not believe she was in true love, True love means you can work out any problems, there was no cheating, or harm to each other. Bottom line, I used to think so, but don't anymore

More than falling outta love I think what can happen is something triggers you to fall outta love. You can desperately be in love with someone and go from that to total disillusion because that person did something hurtful to you. It doesn't mean one day you love someone the next day you don't...that would be bipolar disorder.
