I have a file (.mdb) that I want to work on from home, but I only have Open Office Base. If I work on it, will it play nicely with MS Access when I get back to the office tomorrow? I'd likely need to convert it to .mdb for the long run too, if possible.

I don't have Access on the computer I'm at but...look for import/export functions on the file or edit menus. If the two DB's aren't compatible, then maybe export or save as a text file or a spreadsheet file. Either of those should be easy to import into both your databases.

Hope that helps....good luck

definite it rather is ! you are able to save a report that's been created in Open place of work, to very almost the different format ! i've got ditched MS place of work in favour of Open place of work - and by no potential regarded back ! i like it ! lol !
