If you're looking to do this quickly, then visit the closest independent agent. Bring the information on the house you want to insure, including the name, address, and account number, of the lein holder. Don't forget your checkbook. If you are/have financing on this house, they usually require 1 year's coverage paid on advance.

I normally say ask an independent adviser but I found to my amazement that Barclay's bank offered a low priced high cover new for old contract. Cheaper than half the Internet usual suspects, whom incidentally quote company's I have never heard of
