Focus on why he isn't good for you. Sometimes you never stop loving someone, that's OK. Its not OK to keep pursuing someone that isn't good for you. Move on with your life, find new interests, hang out with old friends you may have lost contact with...get a puppy...do NOT sit around and think about him. Obviously he was not "the one"..There is someone out there for everyone, when you stop concentrating on him someone else will come along..believe me I know this from experience.

It will take time but you need to keep reminding yourself all of the bad things about him. Try to focus on these. keep yourself busy and go out with friends and excercise it will make you feel better. I know that this hurts but it sounds like you are much better off without him so keep reminding yourself of this. If you want you can make a list of all the terrible things about him and look at it whenever you miss him. Good luck.

i strongly agree with "LESLIE" :-)

also:
go on with your life...
take time with yourself, treat yourself, improve it, spend time talking to your friends old and new.
make yourself busy, do the things you used to do before when that person is not yet a part of your life.
lastly stop communicating nor asking anything about that person not until you've totally over it or not ever...
finding someone new is never a solution to a problem...
you have to complete yourself first before starting in to a new relationship...
good luck!

ok now , I see it rather is your 2nd question on the comparable situation. no longer all women individuals love adult adult males. i do no longer love them , i do no longer hate them. they do exactly no longer advise something to me. As worry-free as that. And no , i'm no longer a lesbian. you're in all probability attempting to advance up and fell for some guy around. No enormous deal , quickly you will learn why I say what I say. ;)

Keep yourself busy, getting w/ someone else right away wont help much and its not fair to the other person.
