In my opinion, an Ex, becomes and "Ex" for a reason. Do you really want him back, why did you break up in the first place.

All to often we get so lonely without our Ex's we tend to feel we want them back, when really we'd be better off without them.

My advise to you is to really get to know this Tom guy. If he's gone all out just to see you, maybe there's something behind it. Don't allow your feelings for your ex to miss out on what may be a good thing right in front of you.

Call your ex, set up a time to meet him at a club or bar, and bring Tom. Tell Tom whats going on and you two need to make like you are together and really in love. Invite him to tag along with you on something and never stop touching Tom. Hand on his leg, hand in his back pocket, stuff like that. It will drive him nuts, and he will be so jealous he won't be able to say anything.

Trying to make your ex jealous using your friend is just not right. Grow up and don't play games with people. If your ex wanted to come back he would on his own.

Get your ex back for what? For dumping you? For being honest in a relationship that wasn't working for him and moving on?

Sounds like you need to get over your ex.

using jealousy is an act of desperation. if you can't get someone to be with you honestly, don't bother.... a relationship based on manipulation and unhealthy emotions like jealousy is a relationship destined to fail. the failure is usually not pretty eigther.
