My boyfriend got a tooth pulled Tuesday morning. The socket is still bleeding, mostly at night. What can he do to get it to clot?

DO NOT TAKE ANY ASPIRIN, DO NOT USE STRAWS, TAKE A WET, COLD TEABAG AND PUT IT OVER THE SOCKET AND GENTLY BITE DOWN ON IT WITHOUT CONSTANT CHEWING AND KEEP CLOSED FOR 30 MIN.

bleeding will be there for 24 hrs.. i mean if any abnormal it should stop within 24hrs.. .dnt rinse mouth vigorously coz it will disturb whatever clot is ther and bleeds further more.. just have cold stuff like icecream.. and keep a sterile guaze in the socket and apply pressure gently so that clot is formed and dnt brush that area for atlest 2 days...
