I would think that all you'd need is about 7 hours of sleep a night. I'm 27 and I'm a little shorter, but I feel great and rested after 6.5-7 hours of sleep each night. In fact, sometimes when I sleep beyond that, I am all groggy and sluggish the next day.

6 to 8 hours is healthy.
Remember if you are not getting enough sleep, you gain weight easier.
