They fly a service from shoreham airport near brighton to the channel Islands on little planes the size of a transit van. You could back pack thumb it to brighton then fly to the channel Islands.

Fly-be is the probably the cheapest airline to go to channel islands.
You can't hitchike over 90 miles of seawater!!

A molecular transportation machine would prob be the fastest, but until someone invents 1 you'll have to do with the bus!

You can't get there much cheaper than by hitchhiking. It is not fast but it is cheap.
