I just paid off my car and recieved the title. It came to thr corect address, but the title itself has an old address. Do I need to change it AN change it every time I move?

No, only if you move to another state. But that will be accomplished when you go to reregister your car in that state. They will issue a new title since you have no lien holder.

Don't loose that paper.. it is rather important.

Nice to have a car with no lien huh? :-)

No you do not need to change address on the vehicle title. When registering your vehicle this will allow the state to keep tabs on you. When you move I do believe it is required that you notify the State BMV/DMV of your new address.

Go to the DMV and they will give u one like it with your address on it if u want.
As long as the title is in your name, the address shouldnt matter.

Look in http://www.411.com and get the number to the nearest DMV office in your area. Only they will be able to answer that question to a level that you feel comfortable with.
