How do you know they are coming out of the closet? How do you know it has any basis in fact at all? Just because the anti defamation league quotes a 63% increase how do you know that is true? Notice the fine print at the top of the article OPINION
Socrates once said a wise man knows what he does not know.
Dar is absolutely correct in his statement above. I also question the link to terrorist. One person was arrested therefore all KKK are terrorists? By using the same logic, one illegal was found to be a child molester so all are child molesters. One illegal is a rapist so they are all rapists. Give me a break.
The real point here is that they are trying to associate anti-illegal sentiments with terrorism.
I don't see any articles linking the hate groups La Raza Unida, Brown Berets or MEChA with terrorists although I'm sure one of their members MUST have done something.

Because in the USA, as well as many other countries around the world, the values are becoming so twisted, that nowadays there is some kind of heroism on those who protect american borders againts the illegal alliens, and the kKK have encounter in this a support for their behaviour.
If we think about it, we are allowing to act cruelty againts another human being, justifying this acts with the fear, and hate the immigration is causing to the population.
If you saw that in this way, it migth even become very dangerous, because today it can be against mexicans, latinamericans, and later, it can be against black people again, and later who else?
You migth be receiving that hate at some point in the future.

If by 'closet', you are referring to homosexuality...you are incredibly blind, ignorant and inconsiderate. To label the KKK as gay would be to deny the evils of their actions and intent. You may be insulting their members, but are horribly irresponsible in underestimating the dangers of such a group and the negative effect they could have on the country.
They are, indeed, terrorists. Always have been and, presumably, always will be. And it should be looked upon as a shameful time in America when groups like these...fueled by hatred for another race...gain popularity and strength.
Illegal immigration is a problem...no doubt. But is it bad enough that people must be tortured and killed? Is that how America solves its problems? God forbid America ever becomes unsafe for its citizens, and they seek out other countries for refuge. And face the kind of hatred and abuse the Mexicans have faced here.

i herd a year ago they was waking up to the fact the illegals are coming in like wild birds and sponging our system dry. you can tell the illegals thanks for getting them stirred up. now we will have good american people getting in trouble because our wonderful govt wouldn't enforce our illegal immigration laws.
by the way i don't care for the kkk, i do how ever think they have more rights to voice their rights then illegals. illegals are killing americans everyday and getting away with it. i would join if i didn't have nieces and nephews of different races in my family. this time i feel the kkk is defending the united states of america.

Wow, that is a scary article. To take people who according to the article are performing no physical harm (these days) and 'destroy them' and characterize them as terrorists is frightening. What is happening to our rights of freedom of speech and association?
I really hate saying anything on behalf of the KKK, and frankly don't plan to. I think they are hateful, just as MEChA is hateful. But to class as terrorists and destroy these groups so long as they are just spouting ideology threatens OUR rights as individuals.
As to the Southern Poverty Law Center, they have done some great work in their time. Over time, however, like the ACLU, they have been taken over by radicals who think their way is the only way and are just as prejudiced against those who oppose their viewpoint as are those they label 'hate groups'. I understand that they themselves are a hate group, according to their definition of the term, but they assign that label exclusively to organizations they dislike.
I think radicals on both sides are coming out of the closet, and this 'seek out and destroy' article is much more explicit in its prejudice and sense of entitlement to squelch opposition than anything I have seen lately from the KKK. Mind you, I don't follow what they do, either.

I don't see much difference in the kkk and other radical racists groups that are out there lurking today. All are designed by poor misguided fools that have an insecurity problem along with a tendency to be sheep like followers of insane racists ideology.
There are several groups besides the kkk that fit this profile.LaRaza Unida,The Brown Berets
and others.Same racists agenda only a different color of their members. You can not speak of one without the other. All are composed of members that are easy to influence, motivate and manipulate.
They also have one other huge thing in common they are ALL hate groups.

They've never been "in" the closet, as far as i know!!! They are a bunch of psychos, NOT a bunch of homos!!!!
I think the reason they are getting such a high number of people joining them, is because of the situation with the ILLEGALS!!!!
I think they are going to start going AFTER the illegals aliens and their supporters this time, like they used to go after black people. In fact, the article i read said that IS the REASON why so many people are joing them!!!!
ILLEGALS, LOOK OUT!!!! The psychos are coming!!!

The Klueless Klutz Klan, will be met with defeat, not that I care about illegals (from any country), but there are a lot of other organizations (gangs) out there, that can take the KKK, if it came to it. I don't condone any type of organization, and my 4 legged partner does not care either.
