Health benefits of water

Functions of water in the body
Water is your body's principal chemical component, comprising, on average, 60 percent of your weight. Every system in your body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.

Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don't have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions.

Water is important to the mechanics of the human body. The body cannot work without it, just as a car cannot run without gas and oil. In fact, all the cell and organ functions made up in our entire anatomy and physiology depend on water for their functioning.

Water serves as a lubricant
Water forms the base for saliva
Water forms the fluids that surround the joints.
Water regulates the body temperature, as the cooling and heating is distributed through perspiration.
Water helps to alleviate constipation by moving food through the intestinal tract and thereby eliminating waste- the best detox agent.
Regulates metabolism
In addition to the daily maintainence of our bodies, water also plays a key role in the prevention of disease. Drinking eight glasses of water daily can decrease the risk of colon cancer by 45%, bladder cancer by 50% and it can potentially even reduce the risk of breast cancer. And those are just a few examples!

You've taken chemistry right? Nearly all elements can be dissolved in water or a liquid(acid)>which is composed of water and?< to some degree. Well your body needs that water to do the same to the foods you eat, breaking it down into miniscule particles which must then be transported by liquid(blood) to various parts of the body for absorption. And that "part" of the body which has used this same particle before and burned up its energy"will have waste products that need to be transported away...in the liquid medium until it is flushed away from the body.
No additional nutrients = 1 small blob of humanoid matter.

It helps clean you. It helps run machinery that we take for granted everyday. For instance, your car wouldnt run very long without water. water is needed for the cooling system-you cant just run straight anti freeze, and even that has water in it. If you have a boiler in your house or where you work, it wont run without water. We can get power from water, through the use of dams and generators. I could go on and on.
