No, you can't. Many people try & end up paying much more in legal fees & fines. It is better to find a super cheap policy online. You may want to try getting a quote online. I am paying less than ½ of what I was before.

No. It is not legal. You are required minimum coverage (PIP) if you have the title to the car, and FULL coverage if the vehicle is currently financed through an lending institution.
Not everyone does it though, which is why its important to have "Uninsured Motorist" included in your insurance policy.
In most states, the law enforcement officer who pull you over for a ticket will ask you for
Licence
Vehicle Registration
Proof of insurance
If you can't produce the Proof of Insurance you may get fined.

in case you have a signed invoice of sale and a signed identify, this serves as your "registration." coverage, nonetheless, in maximum states is against the regulation. As a seller, it rather is extremely silly to ever sell a automobile without the paying for social gathering having been pre-authorized for coverage on the motor vehicle via their own service. If the present proprietor is going to maintain their cutting-edge coverage, then the automobile is technically insured.

Several states allow a person to post a cash bond instead of buying insurance. And there is ONE state that doesn't require you to carry car insurance, but I can't remember which one it is.
