I am a practicing Christian and live my life in accord with the bible. Many Christian groups fail this scripture: 1 Corinthians 6:9,10

"What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom."

So it is not just gays, but any individuals that practice these things will not inherit God's Kingdom. Some Christians think that if your Gay, this is worse off than a person that is Greedy or a Fornicator...but not so. In God's eyes, they are all the same.

The bible was meant to be used as a Moral guideline for humans to follow. Of course, everyone is a "free moral agent", but it should be used as a protection. If everyone followed that simple equation you used, the marriage arrangement would be better off.

It isn't all about sex. Calling people who love one another and want to share their lives together an abomination is the abomination, honey. Do you really think our kind, loving God (the one Christ talked about—not the vicious, violent 'god' of Leviticus) likes what you have written?

I can agree with what you are saying, but I also agree that you are trying to conform everyone to your belief system through intimidation.

It seems to me that if you cared about gays, you would talk to them about Jesus.
If you aren't doing that you are just pestering them.

I certainly am not gay, but I understand that you cannot change them by telling them it is an abomination.
The only gays that I know that have given up the lifestyle have come to know Jesus first, then under conviction gave up the lifestyle.

The gay agenda, though becoming popular, has not deceived me one iota. Though I don't believe in being a gay hater, or homophobe, I don't believe for one minute that gay sexuality is acceptable to God, because God said so, and God doesn't change.

Define abomination. Sounds too much like an opinion to me. Cut and paste us something!

An abomination as defined by what? Your religion?

If so, then you are wanting people to conform to the beliefs of your religion. In other words you are forcing you religion on other people.

I think you might have boiled that down a little too far, there, chief. I can't really make heads or tails of what you're saying without making too many assumptions.

DESIRABLE - three become an all-night party

I wish the gay-bashing would stop. I can handle most things, but not that.
