I went to the local shelter and rescued a 12 wk old Coonhound Mix -3 1/2 years ago and she has become the best companion I have ever had. I am hearing impaired and cannot hear my alarm clock so she paws at me to wake me up when the alarm goes off. No, I didn't train her to do that....she picked that up on her own. I love you, Sadie. By the way.....Sadie is blind in one eye but it hasn't slowed her down one iota. Thanks for letting me brag and vent. ;)

I have a 1 year old Jack Russell/Rat Terrier named Whoa-D. He's a mama's baby dog. I swear he thinks he's human. He actually gives hugs. And smart as a whip too!

I have two. One is a little 11 lbs Shi Zuzu (?) Terrier mix, black & White, long haired, absolutely adorable with a Attitude, She (Phoebe)will go against any dog no matter how big it may be. There is no way anyone could get into my home. I have seem her attack a man one day & it scared me, she called herself protecting me.( She now weighs 26 lbs.) The other one is a red/cream/black haired Pomerainian that is so sweet, but picking up Phoebe's bad habits, her name is Foxy Lady on her papers, but I call her Foxy Ling. They both love to take walks and go byebye in the car, they love the park and my cooking. And Banana Pudding Ice Cream. I think they are spoiled and I love it!

I have a one year old Border Collie named Murphy O. the O. stands for Oliver, my mini doxie that passed away a year ago. I figure its good way to pay rememberance to him.
I also have a 4 month old Jack Russell named Tipsy.
they are both pound puppies and i'm very fortunate to have them.
although at times i'm not sure what i was thinking getting these two active breeds as puppies around the same time. they sure are a handful!

I have 2 dogs. I originally only had one. She's a beauty Tosa/Rott cross. Black with Brindle. Then after I had for a week my brother gave me his Rott. They are both 7 now, they've been together since they were 6 weeks old.
Rocky & Daisy.
I think of them as my children, I never call anyone a ***** I don't like insulting Daisy.
Oh, a Tosa is a Japanese Mastiff

sigh... my building won't let me have dogs. However, I live vicariously through other's dogs and love them very much. These are the dogs in my life:
Clementine, my boyfriend's dog. She is an american bulldog, 108 lbs, thinks she's a lapdog, incredibly cute. Gives kisses and frenetic tailwagging whenever I come in. Nicknamed "phlementine" because of the terrific amount of drool she emits.
Zoe, my dad's dog. Darling little mutt, looks part cocker and part just something black and white and cute. If you say "go to bed" at bedtime she will get up, get her "baby" (little tiny animal toy) in her mouth, trot upstairs to my stepsister's old room, and settle in on her dog bed to be tucked in for the night.
dogsittees: a JACK RUSSELL / Golden Retriever combo. I'm with these dogs a lot because owners travel. I am in love with the Jack Russell. She is soooo cute and so fiesty and smart. She is totally the boss of the other dog and loves to steal all the good toys. When she's exhausted from 2 straight hours of playing with her golf ball she will crawl onto my chest where I'm sitting and give me face kisses. She likes to cuddle at night, although she does snore.
two daschunds, a standard male and a mini female. just spent the weekend with this pair. Both are snuggle monsters who love to play and be fierce. The little mini loves to wrestle with her animal toys, some of which are bigger than she is. She barks and rolls over them and growls and shakes them. The standard loves his ball so much that if you let him, he will make you throw it until your arm hurts.
my doggie growing up: a golden retreiver named Sashie, now in doggie heaven. Prone to kisses and lots of tail thumping. Had us trained to bring the paper to HER at the front door so she could carry it into the kitchen and get a treat. (Same with the mail.)
sadly, since I live in this apartment building, I only have an invisible dog named fido. Fido has upsides; when he has an accident, you can't smell it: you can leave him in the car for hours, no problem: and he does lots of spectacular tricks since he is not bound by the laws of gravity. But ultimately he is not terribly rewarding. lol (I actually do have that invisible 'dog on a leash' gag which I have named Fido.)
Post a link to your cutie, we will all tell you how adorable she/he is!
