"Pudding" on the Ritz!


It's Here's What You'll Need:

60 Ritz Crackers, 1 tsp. ground cinnamon, 1/4 lb. of butter (one stick), 1 qt. vanilla ice cream, 2 (3oz) pkgs. instant Pistachio pudding, 2 cans (20 oz. each) crushed pineapple, 1 C chopped walnuts, 2 envelopes of Dream Whip

Here's What You Do:

1. Melt the stick of butter.
2. Crush Ritz Crackers with a rolling pin until you have fine crumbs. Add 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon and melted butter. Mix well.
3. Line a 9" by 13" pan evenly with the mixture, reserving 1/4 C for topping.
4. Prepare 2 pkgs. of instant pistachio pudding, using 1 1/2 C milk. Add quart of SOFTENED ice cream. Mix well and pour over crumbs in pan.
5. Drain pineapple well and spread evenly over pudding mixture.
6. Sprinkle fine chopped walnuts over pineapple.
7. Whip 2 pkgs. of Dream Whip using one cup of milk... until thick. Spread Dream Whip over top of mixture.
8. Sprinkle the reserved cracker crumbs over the top.
9. Chill in refrigerator until time to serve.


Serve 12-15 depending on size of pieces. ENJOY!

Frozen Pistachio Dessert recipe
45 Ritz crackers
3/4 cup melted butter
2 small boxes instant pistachio pudding mix
1 quart vanilla ice cream
1 1/3 cup milk
8 ounces Cool Whip
Chocolate chips

Crush crackers and pour melted butter over crackers in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees and let cool.

Mix pudding, milk and ice cream in large bowl and pour into crust. Freeze. Spread cool whip over top and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Keep frozen.

PISTACHIO DESSERT

35-40 Ritz crackers
¼ cup butter, melted
2 boxes instant pistachio pudding
1½ cups milk
1 quart ice cream, softened
Cool Whip
Heath bars, crushed

Crush crackers. Combine with butter. Press into a 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Bake at 325°-350° for 10 minutes. Mix pudding with milk. Beat until thick. Add ice cream. Pour into cake pan. Freeze for 30 minutes. Top with Cool Whip and crushed Heath bars.
