Ok so for the past month I have been working out and have changed my diet. I found out I have Celiac Disease and I know that was affecting me at that point. I see a nutrionist once a week and a personal trainer 3 times a week, on top of cardio 4-5 times a week, but I haven't lost a pount. I am trying to lose like 10 pounds. I have tried diet pills and everything else. I have time to lose the weight, but does anyone have any advice as to what else I could do? I mean one month and I haven't seen any results I feel like.

Don't do the diet pills. They are not good for you.
Measure yourself and record the measurements in a notebook. Do it again in a month to compare. I bet you will find changes there.

Good Luck.

Probably what's happening is that your not necessarily losing or gaining weight, but it's going all into muscle, which is good. after a while you will look more lean and eventually your body mass will be thinner.
You might just be on the wrong diet for your body. Everyone is different. I went on a low carb/low calorie diet and lost 32 pounds in less then 2 months and that was with no exercising. Just a healthy diet change and eating in small proportioned meals of 4 times a day did the trick for me. I did a lot of reading on healthier foods and eating habits which really helped.

Try another type of diet and work out because everyone is different and if your doing a general routine it may just not be working for you. Dieting is mental as well as physical so you have to really set your mind to doing and not getting discouraged.

That's odd; my cousin and aunt both have Celiac Disease and they lost a ton of weight as a result. Have you asked your trainer? Maybe your nutritionist has you consuming too many calories; some of them have you on diet plans that allow you to "safely" lose 1-2 pounds a month when the body is capable of safely losing that a week! Consider your daily calorie count. To lose weight, it needs to be 9-10 pounds for every pound of body weight (ie, you weigh 140, eat 1400 calories) If you're eating more than that, your weight loss will be diminished.

Also, the new FDA drug won't be out until this summer.

You may be losing pounds while gaining muscle. Don't give up.

Also, talk to your nutrionist about it and see what they say. I don't recommend diet pills since most of them have been proven to wreck havoc on your body. I tried a diet patch and had no negative effects but I only used it for a month.

I've been working out and dieting since mid January and I haven't lost anything either. I do, however, feel better and sleep better and have more energy. I believe that I am losing inches and that if I stick to it, I will reach my goal in time.
