Yes you don't need a passport to fly to Hawaii they are part of the United States. The only thing you need is your ID like you would if you flew anyplace else in the continental US.

you should be able to. you only need a passport if youre going out of the country, and hawaii is a part of the US. you should be fine as long as you have ID.

Yes, you're not flying out of the country so you wouldn't need a Passport. Safest to take your Driver's License as ID.

Yeh, you can do it without a passport. Hawai'i is part of the US and you don't need a passport traveling between states.
However, it is a good thing to get a passport in case you want to go to the Bahamas or Mexico on short notice. As they say, it can't hurt.

BTW, how interior the international are you getting by technique of in CA w/o a state id? you want it for quite each little thing in CA.
