What do you mean by "beating you down"? Do they physically beat you? Honkies? I'm white chocolate, thank you very much. Racism and prejudice will never completely go away, not for a long while at least. I've lived in the South most of my life and my parents and grandparents generation is still ignorant when it comes to interracial relationships, homosexuals, etc. It's just the way they were raised but I think once my generation is our parents age things will be different, unfortunately, that'sanother 27 years to go...

Personally, I'm more offended by "voodoo_lover_23's" comment. I am a white female and anyone you ask will tell you that I am far from "weak and timid".

I think I would have to agree with the panel on this one. Your ignorance is the reason why there is still a racial divide in America. You are not the only one to blame though, there a millions of other people who share your jaded views on how African Americans are treated in todays world. Some of the complaints are justified and other are not, but.........

What makes it even more ironic about your foolish question/comment is that most men with your attitude will run out a date a white woman because you aren't man enough to handle a strong black women. You want someone who is typically considered weak and timid, a woman you can push around and treat like **** because you know she will never leave.

the same kind of man who sits at home with his boys trying to figure out why most of the sista's would rather have a White boy like me by there side instead of your ignorant ***!!!

OK times are changing, we are no longer dirty honkies (sounds like a broken car horn) we are crackers now. Come on and get a life, the only thing oppressing you is yourself.

Racism is not over...you are proof! African Americans say they want to be treated equally, and then when something bad happens to you from a White man, you use the racism card. Get over it! Get on your own 2 feet, stop bitching and expecting handouts....and Stop saying that all whites are racist. That is a very IGNORANT thing to say!

No body "be keeping you down" except for you and your self pity!

Keeping you down, how? Because they yell at you when you don't do anything at your job?? Because you always complain?? Because you always blame other people for your problems?? Look what the Jews went through, and they don't complain and steal and shoot each other and act like racists! They are respectable people. They don't call themselves "Jewish Americans" either. But blacks always have to segregate themselves by saying "African Americans". You are Americans and that is it!! No special rights and college funds!! Everybody is equal!

I was fortunate enough to be raised to believe all people were created equal and I am certainly not raciest, but “ White man be keeping me down,” your grammar and your question shows you are a very ignorant person who wants to blame someone besides yourself for it. You certainly are no credit to your race.
