I did. We've been married 13 years. I attended my stepson's wedding in Australia and gave my stepdaughter away at her wedding. I have a four month old Grandson. Best thing I ever did.

I wouldn't because I am not ready to be a parental figure. But if I was, it would depend on the situation. If there is constant drama going on between the parents then no. If everything is ok between the parents I would consider it, if I could see myself with the person for the long run. In those situations a person has to take in to count the feelings of the kid(s).

Most guys who date mom's do it because they want to play house. It will be fun for them for awhile to see how that is but it rarely lasts.
Once they have a taste of how it is to be a father for awhile they usually split. Its much easier to date guys who are fathers themselves. they are more understanding as far as priorities go.
Most single guys wants to be the main priority in a relationship. And has a hard time dealing with that someone elses child comes before them. Thats the sad truth of it.
There will be a few real men out there that is single and up for the task. But its rare. Single fathers are more understanding.

I have and am married to one with a previous child. I dated a guy that had 2 children, but never met either one of them because they were never with him, but with their mothers. Then I married a guy with a son from a previous relationship.
I don't see a problem with it.

I don't think so. It means legal obligations if your relationship becomes serious ( I don't think I can afford child support for children that are not even mine.) Second, I would want to be the only man in her life, sorry sounds selfish, but I want to be the dominant force in her life. Any children that my woman would have must be mine (either that or we are adopting)

Yes. My bf has an 8 yr old, we've been together 6 1/2 yrs. It has really opened up my eyes and let me see how he is as a father figure.

I would if what i was looking for was a family foundation. If i wanted tyo expierience something new. But realize that there are more people involded with this than just the two of you so your feelings are spread out and shared with the rest.
