This should already be taught to you in History and civics. As to the science that is already covered in physics and math. The teaching of weapons is irrelevant to the general public. thus there is no need for a Military sciences class. If you want something like that join an ROTC. Though some military style Gym classes would do the nations waistline some good.

I think military history/appreciation would be a great elective for high-school students (I doubt you'd find many districts willing to make this a mandatory class), but guns and bombs should have nothing to do with it, kids seem to be figuring that stuff out too well on their own, we don't need to help them or give them ideas!

Theoretically we have 'trained instructors' teaching history in our schools now.
There use to be junior ROTC programs at high schools but that has fallen by the wayside.

It is an option in many high schools, it is called JROTC and does not include enlisting or joining the military.
