It depends on the person, it worked for me for a while, but then I just had enough.
Soo, give it a shot if you want, you never know it could work out fantastic!
Ps.
Why is there a crack in your picture?

Don't listen to them, they are telling you no because it didn't work out with them. On the other hand my boyfriend and I of 4 1/2 years went through two grueling years the long distance way. We lived around 60 miles away from each other and I was only able to see him on the weekends, if he wasn't working. If the person is right for you and you want them to be yours more than ever, you just have to make sure you are doing your part. Make that person feel wanted and appreciated all of the time, be careful, don't be clingy. Say nice things to make that person feel good about themselves. If you haven't met him yet make sure you let him know how important it is for you two to meet. Tell him your dreams and connect on a different level. If you want it badly enough, it's not hopeless.

depends on how much you both want it to work.
it can come down to personal disposition and choice. do you think you are the type of person that could handle feeling jealous when you find out your partner is out with female work colleagues in another state or country? these are the things that you have to think about.

however, people are finding less time to do the things like dating and start relationships, so when they find someone they really click with they are more willing to do anything to make it work.

there have been many success stories and articles written about the ones that work, more than the ones that don't.

you probably don't get the chance to hear from the ones that work because they are too busy travelling to and from their partner.

give it a shot. you never know if you don't try.

Yes it will work, only if there's honesty, trust and understanding of different cultures...in many ways..having a love on line is better than meeting in real life...the bonding is closer cause the time you have with each other is mainly chatting...which allows us to get to know the person, after a certain time...than met for real, all the best

A big yes! But lots of patience that you need to wait and trust. If he is there to call you anytime, then you will always there to answer his call and even on the Internet or letters, because if not he will feel like you do not like him or not interested or you have other guy from other countries. Be honest and be true to him as well as him to you.

Sorry, I have to say no; especially since you haven't even met!
A few years back I was with someone who was transferred overseas (military), we were engaged for a year while he was on duty. Things were never the same when he got back and sadly the relationship ended.

I dont think so.You lose your bond after awhile cause you have nothing in common to even talk about. The other differences I just read will make it even worse. You never even met him?I would defenitley just let this die away and find someone you can be with.

I would say no because its so long a distance, each person has the chance to cheat on each other. Sad but true.

there are long distance relationships that works and does not work.. i think it depends on both partners to make it work. communication is the best tool to make this kind of relationship work.
