AS FAR AS I KNOW THEY BELIEVE IN THIS LIFE AND AFTERLIFE.MAYBE THEY WONT TO LET PEOPLE KNOW THAT IS A GOOD WORLD OUT THERE.ACCORDING TO THEIR BOOK THE HOLY QURAN THEY SHUD BALANCE THEIR RELIGIOUS LIFE AND WORLDY LIFE EQUALLY.THE ONE WHO DOESNT DO THAT IS A LOSER.ANYWAYS EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE FREEDOM OF CHOICE OF RELIGION.NO ONE CAN FORCIBLY CHANGE ANY RELIGION.FORCE WILL ONLY LEAD TO HATRED.CHEERS.GOD BLESS YA!

It is not just Muslims. I read an article about the inventions in the USA and that most if not all of them were here. From the computers to the Internet to the assembly line to cars, planes and high speed trains. The atomic bomb to the cotton gin.
Telephones, telegraphs to high speed Internet.
The reason it sited: freedom of religion, most country's spent all their time and resources trying to convert and control the thinking of its citizens. In American it was free thinkers who did these things. So most country's spend most of its time forcing its believe system or lack of it on to each individual and policing them is a full time job. Leaving very little time for other things.
Any original thought is viewed as a threat to the ones in power.

I think you'll find that the opposite is true. Most Muslims just want to live decent lives and provide for their families.

They aren't, but they enjoy hearing when others have found the logic in Islam and have decided to accept it in their life. All religions are this way.

For the very same reason Christians do it as well;) It's basically a matter of lack of self-confidence, education, and understanding on one hand, and on the other, as a consequence of that, a matter of having an enormous ammount of arrogance and complexes as their main features;)
