yes, anybody that believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior can be forgiven of their sins and can go to heaven after they die.
no human can guarantee you that.
but, that does not matter.
God already guarantees that.
God is faithful in His promises.

It's an issue of faith and trust. When you or anyone else puts their trust in what God has said in the Bible concerning salvation, righteousness and the forgiveness of sins you shall be saved. God sent His Son Jesus (Jn 3:16) who was the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world (Jn 1:29). When you put your faith in Him to take away your sins and you make Him your Lord and Savior you shall be saved.
When you do that all of your sins are forgiven (Heb. 7:27). The guarantee you seek is spoken of in Eph. 1:13,14. It's the Holy Spirit of God who comes to live in us when we give our lives to Jesus. He will council and guide us; teach us and remind us of what Jesus our Shepherd wants us to know. You cannot scientifically prove His existence but if you look you can see changes, sometimes quickly, sometimes over a longer period of time in that person's life.
The 'saved' one will know the changes. They'll know the truth of God's promises in their heart and life. It's like Jesus said, "...the kingdom of God is WITHIN you." Luke 17:21. You can only see the results of the kingdom in the seen world. Mainly via changed lifes and hearts.

It's not just believing in Jesus, it's asking for forgiveness and truly changing your life to live for him...

If God calls you to be one of his own then yes it's guaranteed you'll go to heaven...

It is guaranteed, because if we were able to lose our salvation, it would be like Jesus's death on the cross wasn't sufficient enough to save us from eternal damnation...that our own wills can counteract his sacrifice...it's impossible..! If he promises us Life everlasting then nothing can change that...nothing can snatch us out of his hand...(if we are TRULY his)

It isn't me who guarentees it. It is through the blood of Jesus Christ that guarentees it. If we repent of our sins, ask Jesus into our hearts, yes. we are forgiven. He is not going to punish you for those things he has forgiven you for. We need to also have forgiveness in our hearts for others. So many people think that by choosing to believe in Jesus Christ, they are put on some chopping block and are going to be punished. Jesus was put through great punishment, he was beaten, he was spit upon and cursed, nailed to a cross, ALL of this for us, for our sins to be forgiven. It is through his body and his blood that we are forgiven. He loves us this much! I am not a Bible pro. I am just another forgiven person who needs him every day.I am in tears at the moment, because I feel I can't express it enough from my heart, how much he loves you. There are so many out there in the world that just don't know. There are so many that will try to pull you in the wrong direction by telling you lies. The devil would like nothing better than for you to think you will be punished if you believe in your Savior Jesus. I felt that way for a long time. I was soooo wrong! He has taken me and showed me in so many ways , how much he loves me. It hasn't been easy, it isn't always easy. If it were easy all the time, I would have never gotten to know the most wonderful savior. There is so much to learn. I started going to church and also to some Bible study groups to learn. I am reading his word and always ask questions on things I don't understand. I have read things in the Bible and then went back and read the same verse and all of a sudden it hit me!, I understood what it was saying to me. I pray before I start reading , that God will guide me and give me the wisdom I need to understand. I praise him and thank him, along with my prayers of asking. I used to ask, ask, ask. We need to remember to thank him and praise and worship his name also. Honey, there is so much to learn through your Lord Jesus Christ. Things that will change you from the inside out and release you from bondage of sin. I can't express enough, how he has changed my heart. It hasn't all been easy, but very much worth it! I have never felt so free in my life. I can't wait to be with him one day. I know that someone else may have more to offer you in an answer, but this is mine. Jesus is The WAY, The TRUTH and The LIFE! He can take any situation and turn it around for good. God Bless you. Get to know him in an intimate way.

You must accept Jesus Christ and his words; You are a sinner first. You cannot make it into Heaven on your merits. Jesus purpose for coming to earth was to die on the cross for your sins. You must repent, which means to turn, or purpose to turn from your wicked ways. And you must be born again of water and of Spirit ( or Fire).
Many people do not understand this but being called is not something that you do. God is calling you is why you desire God. But being called does not mean your going to heaven; Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
To be chosen means you are going to heaven, also chosen means you are birthed into the kingdom of God; John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
You see many people that are called never purpose to finish the race they started when they were called, and you must finish the race to make it into heaven; Psalm 19:5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
1 Corinthians 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
Now understand this fact the Bible is an example of what to do and not do to find favor with God, but also an example of the race and how to win; Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Now the weight we must put down is the burden of sin; Job 7:20
I have sinned; what shall I do unto thee, O thou preserver of men? why hast thou set me as a mark against thee, so that I am a burden to myself?

if you believe in Jesus, repent and take him as your personal savour then yes your sins will be forgiven but I don't think that is a guarantee of you going to heaven.

There IS NO SALVATION for only believing in Jesus. Anyone can "believe" their was a Jesus. "Even the demons believe in Jesus and they tremble".The belief that you must have is your true commitment to God, and learn to live the word the will and the ways of God through Jesus Christ. You must be sincere and willing to change for good, because God knows your heart. You must repent of your ways and ask God to forgive you for your sins. You must confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and Savior and died for you so that you may have eternal life. Ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and life as your personal Lord and Savior. God will send down His Holy Spirit to live within you . This is what is known as being..... "born of the Holy Spirit". The truth of the Spirit will guide you, counsel you, and give you Spiritual discernment. You will see and react to situations on a higher spiritual plain. You will know the real difference between right and wrong, what is sin and what is not, what is the truth and what is the lie. You will see and notice "ways of the world" and how it really is with the influance of Satan who's subtle messages of lust, of greed, of envy and pride of life, that absorb the world with their attitudes of ignorance and morally corrupt behavior. These are the lost souls of people who don't know the Lord. You will see the world with the view of the Holy Spirit. You MUST have the Spirit of God in you to be called a TRUE child of God! A TRUE Christian! You will know if you have received His Holy Spirit because you WILL have TOTALLY changed your life around by living your life for God through Jesus Christ His Son. You no longer live for yourself, you live for God! You will lose your life to gain eternal life in heaven. There IS NO other way! You must PROVE your faithfulness to God. Lawlessness is not acceptable. You must obey His Commandments, ALL of them! You will act and present yourself accordingly with love and respect for God your Father as a true Saint of God and joint heir with Jesus Christ in the coming Kingdom of God. Your main purpose on earth now is to live your life as a true and faithful servant to further the Kingdom of God by spreading the Gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ to people you know or wherever and whenever possible. "Faith without works is dead". You must PROVE to God by doing His work on earth for Him and continue to be true and faithful TO THE END, and that you ARE worthy of His Gift of eternal life. THAT is when you receive your salvation, NOT BEFORE. If you go about your life and do as you please and live your life like you used to and never change, than you were not truely not called by God to serve at this time and you were only fooling yourself. Only God knows when and who will be called to serve. You probably weren't sincere and never did receive the Gift of God's Holy Spirit and YOU WILL NOT see the kingdom of Heaven until you change, maybe not now but later. If you reject Him, He will reject you. Why would God want people to be with HIm who have rebellious attitudes, who continually break His Laws, who never truely repent of their sins and change their ways, and don't really care about Him or to do His work here as His faithful servants. HE DON'T!! They WILL NOT take part in HIs Kingdom!! They haven't shown Him anything except that they don't care and that they'll do it by their will and their ways, not by His will and His ways! They're not HIs children, They're still a "child of the world". They must "step out of the world". They must live in this world but CANNOT BE PART OF IT! God wants people who have OVERCOME the world. They must honestly and truely commit their lives to God.You WILL be judged by Jesus when He returns. The True Saints of God, who's past sins will be burnt away, will receive a crown and a reward that has awaited them according to their good works. Those who did not repent of their sins who were called to serve God who understood the Gospel but rejected Christ, their soul will be cast into the lake of fire and they will perish. Those who never heard the Gospel or those who never understood, (all who have ever lived or died) will not perish but will have their first and only chance for salvation in the White Throne Judgment at the end of the Millennium rule. (1000 yr rule of the Kingdom of God on earth) For those who were called by God and have recieved the Holy Spirit and served Him but decided to quit and totally reject all that they know and go their own way with no intentions of repenting or returning to God, they have commited the only unforgivable sin (Blaspheming of the Holy Spirit).God will leave them to their reprobate mind and harden their heart with no chance of returning. They already KNOW their fate and the torment of complete destruction of their soul in the lake of fire. There is no hope or chance of salvation for the incorrigibly wicked who reject God and all that He is. Their fate is seald and their souls shall be laid to waste as it is cast into the lake of fire. God is not unjust! He's not going to let anybody that rejects Him "burn" in hell forever! That's not what God's about! Their souls will perish! They will cease to exist! Eternal damnation in hell "Tartarus" is reserved only for Satan and his Angels. They're souls shall never rest but be forever in torment. God has compassion for His creatures. He is a Loving God that doesn't want to see any body suffer if possible. God want's us to be part of His family in His Kingdom. It's the people who have free will that make that decison for their lives whether to love and accept Him or reject Him, not God's. The purpose of God's plan is not to torment us in a flaming hell forever if we don't accept Him. Our God is not cruel. He wants to bring as many people into His Kingdom as possible through the Spirit of His written word. God is a just God. He gives everyone a fair chance for salvation. It is up to us if we want to accept His gift or not......There is NO other way!......"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it"......(Matthew 7:13-14 nkj).
