There is some recent research and a book published putting that premise forward. It is entirely possible but of course we can't ask him directly now, can we?

Someone wanted to make an easy buck so they wrote a book putting that premise forward. Of course, it helped that Lincoln was dead and so couldn't refute it. It seems to be a modern day thing to make claims like this as it is easy and requires no scholarship. And they always know that some will believe them and quote their books as the truth however poorly researched (if there is any research done at all). No, he was not and it doesn't really matter anyway.

Nope, he wasn't gay, he actually fathered ALOT of childern and had many relationships with different females. Alot of them were African American, which caused a big stink at that time.
And well it would still cause a big stink now because Americans portray themselves as being so anti-everything and everyone.
