Christians believe in God, and His son Jesus, Muslims, believe in Allah, and Mohammed, and Jesus. Why do we fight over who's religion is right? Didn't God, Or Allah create all men? I'm sure if he didnt want us here on earth he wouldnt have put us here. He did say love thy neighbor, not kill him. does anyone else think that all religions should come together no matter what faith, and stand as friends? I know this is probably wanting to much, i just hate to see us fighting, about one thing, that links us all.the creation of man, by God or Allah.

As a Muslim, I agree 100% with your points. However, it is one of those things that is much easier said than done. The best point to remember is that we worship the same God, Allah. The teachings also say "Judge not lest ye be judged." It is only for Allah to be the judge during the Day of Reckoning. We humans should not try to supercede the words of Allah by telling someone else that their way is wrong.

Jesus is well respected by Islam. But, only as a prophet. Jesus is the only one that fits the old Testament prophecy of the coming of a savior. That's why Christians believe the way they do. The Bible was written hundreds of years before The Quran was put on paper. So it stands to reason the some of the stories are smiler, with small but damning differences.
There is no record of Jesus, unlike Muhammad, of having sex with a child of 9 yrs. old. Or with anyone else for that matter.
Jesus was the Son of God and without sin. Nowhere is there information to the contrary.

Darth_Maul is correct but he should have added that the christian, jewish and islamic diety is exactly the same being. In other words, the God/Allah of all three religions is the God of Abraham.

Yes, Abraham, the guy that almost killed his son Issac. Old Abe is the father of all three religions. According to the Torah - or to Christians the old testament - Abe was the first guy to worship a single God.

Abe started the jewish faith; Jesus was jewish and it was his followers - mainly Peter and Paul. Who started the Christian faith.

Muhammed followed and based his faith after being inspired by the God of Abraham.

Three religions, one God - or as Darth_Maul points out - one Allah.

that is true... agree 100%, but obviously debating this topic won't make war (well i won't be angry if someone has a different opinion).
Muslims have a mission to do what Mohammad did... which is convey the message of God, and invite people to our religion.
Christian have the same feeling, that they have to tell people about Jesus.
Jesus and Mohammad both said the same thing 1 God, though the small differences are the things that should be discussed.
I'm a Muslim and i know that if People join partners or idols with God they will never be monotheistic... it just doesn't make sense Jesus being God in flesh... it sounds like Hercules mythology. (Half men half God)...
Don't be offended Christians, but everyone has a belief... choices are made, and it is Gods will...
God guide more people to the truth

Why do you say God or Allah? That exacerbates the Christians' misconception that God and Allah are two different things. Allah is an Arabic word. When speaking English, do not use the word Allah.

The Qur'an teaches respect for Christians and honours them as people of the Book.

What do you mean by coming together? The pope and Islamic leaders come together and give peace messages all the time. The problem is not the religion or religious people. It's about politics. As a Muslim I'd rather be the neighbour of a Christian rather than an atheist. At least he would fear God and be kind.

This is a wonderful "Utopian Dream" but it won't work. Why? Well, to quote a time worn homely, "The devil is in the details."

All the monotheistic religions do worship the same god but all of them have very different laws and modes of behavior. Where one can sing and dance and drink in moderation while praising god, the other would consider these actions as blasphemy. See the problem?

Jesus is God's Son, there's a huge difference between Christians and Muslims. In the end, there is only one way.

Because we as Muslims were ordered by god to advise people and show them the right path,it is our responsibility to reveal the truth which is between our hands to the whole world, otherwise we will be punished by god.

016.125 Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord wiph wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance.

003.110 Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in God. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors.

And because god teached us that attributing a son or a partner to god is the greatest sin any man could ever do.here is a wise man his name is "luqman" mentioned in quran advising his son.

031.013 Behold, Luqman said to his son by way of instruction: "O my son! join not in worship (others) with God: for false worship is indeed the highest wrong-doing."

We can live a peaceful short life without fighting about faith, but at the end we will all be suffering forever at hell....
