HELL NO... they were awful!!! Spending day in and day out with those dipshits in school (students and teachers alike) was such a waste of time!
So many say the teen years were great because the had no bills, no cares in the world... I say bring on the bills and start caring !! I bought my first home when I was still in highschool though I bet only 2 people knew it. I couldn't wait to start life away from the idiots partying, puking and wasting money.
Life gets better every year for me... now in my 40's I see these as the best... I see others just starting their lives, buying HUGE homes and going into debt when here I sit with my home and then some, paid off. THESE are the good times right now... tomorrow will be good as well for I choose them to be.

It depends on the person. Some people would say yes, some people would say no. I would say that generally people would say no because high school tends to breed awkward, self conscious, people. Also, teenagers tend to be hormonal which can sometimes lead to ... mean, grumpy, snotty people. I would say that people tend to think that college is the best years of their life because people mature a lot in college and have more choice in their own life than every before - but not to the point that they are completely alone in the world (still get money from parents, etc). But as I said before, it depends on the person.

My mum and my elders tell me that they are, i am 19 and i have not had a kind childhood. I feel that its been slightly more depressing at times than it should have been, i have been made to grow up faster than i should and i miss the innocence that i once had. But i think that my mum would only return back to her teenage years if she knew what she knows now and was a teenager again. Its hard growing up because you make so many mistakes and its painful. so if you are a wise person and you listen to your elders, teenage years should be more eaiser and the "best years of your life".
us teenagers take it for granted that we will be young and beautiful for ever and i know its not like that so i am going to grab everyminute of life and TRY to enjoy it.
I dont know if they are the best years of your life, but apparatnly, we take these years for granted. x

Not usually when they are happening (are exceptions) but when older and look back lots of people would give anything to get these years back. Not always because suddenly they think after all they were the best but because they would live them so differently given a second chance.

I am in my mid twenties and so far its been way better than teenage years. I have a lot more things now then I did back then and I can do things without sneaking out or asking for permission.

Absolutely not!
Lord, Lord! I was just looking through these Qs and thinking how I'd hate to go back to all that uncertainty, angst and general pain which characterises teenage years.
Sure, there's some wonderful stuff goes on as well - but maturity's better.

When I'm asked if I would go back to my high school days, I always say YES, I would. I had a wonderful childhood, and wonderful high school years. I kept involved and had a blast in school. I ended up marrying my high school sweetheart and been married for 30 yrs. Not saying the other years havn't been great as well...but teen years were very carefree!!

Nah, too much heartbreak and confusion.
The 20's - 30's where the best for being free and single.
I'm now rapidly approaching 40 and love my wife to pieces, a very happy man in the here and now.
