i've many times decided to quit smoking,eating sweet things,drinking tea alot and try to concentrate on daily affairs and do many other things but from tommorrow!!!and if this socalled "tommorrow" is the 13th day of a month or any other day(for example 3th,28,...) that i had a bad memory on it,it prevents me to quit these harmless things.what should i do?

No. Number 13 is not unlucky and nasty. Yes, I would marry some one on 13th day of any month/calendar,provided I am an eligible bachelor.
Some one at some point of time branded numbers 8 and 13 as unlucky and people started believing in that theory.
From the definition of God, who is impartial to anything and everything in this or any other world, all things including numbers are treated alike by God and they are created to perform the duties ordained by God and there is not any kind of discrimination in the kingdom of God.
Eventhough I am a progressive thinker,even I am a victim of this unlucky number theory attributed to 13 or 8 etc.
Though good and bad events occur impartially on all days connected with all types of numbers,even I am bound to think numbers 13 and 8 are bad .
If at all anything is there it is sheer COINCIDENCE and nothing more than that.
If any one wants to quit smoking or any other bad habit, it is sheer determination and willingness on the part of the person concerned and also understanding of the evil effects of bad habits ,which act as a motivating factor to come out of such a mess or hazard detrimental to HEALTH and WEALTH.
The best thing is to ignore such thoughts, as there is no scientific background and concrete proof for such thoughts in any part of the civilised world.
I am also coming out of such thoughts and WISH YOU GOOD LUCK to come out of such thoughts.

What is so bad about 13 its just a number anit it! Whats the difference between 13 and 17? Well besides 4 days and a 3 and a 7 nothing.

I did get married on a 13. Not a friday the 13th. Didn't work out. I don't blame 13.

13th a number dont asscioate it with bad memorys that happened that day, some people say 13 is lucky neway, lucky 13? turn it in to a positive thing dont dwell, break the mold.because its a new day and a bad memory may not happen that day. just try quittin on the 13th what u afraid of?

13 is just a number. Even if it's Friday the 13th it's still just a number. I am not a superstitious person.
