Ok. You asked for O.T. reference to Jesus. Isaian 7:14 "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." I know that isn't the name Jesus, but, Luke 1: 27-31 This is the scripture of when Gabriel, the angel sent from God, appeared to Mary, the virgin. In verse 31 Gabriel tells Mary, "And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS." That is just one of the many references that will lead you to the N.T. for the name of Jesus. And, your question about Deuteronomy is about Jesus. Jesus had mother and Father, Father being God. The phrase about him being like Moses is that he would be a prophet that would lead them in God's way. Jesus only did and said what he got from the Father. By the way, if you continue reading in Luke, you will learn that Mary questioned the angel Gabriel. Questions are good! Also, who was Moses' dad? That's how Jesus is like Moses. Moses earthly dad was never mentioned. Moses mother helped raise him with Pharoah's daughter. The reason was because the king had ordered all males under 2 or 3 to be killed to weaken the Isrealites. Same happened to Jesus.

Jesus is the promised prophet Moses spoke of. They are alike in that they brought salvation to the people: Moses through the Law and Jesus through His death and resurrection which fulfilled the Law. Stop listening to Muslims who try to interpret the Bible.

Not only was it prophecied, but when Christ was on the cross, and said "God, why hast thou forsaken me?" - some folks think Jesus was being left alone by God, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. Jesus never called the Father "God", He called Him "Father".
What Jesus was doing when he said that, was reciting Psalm 22, which prophecied of not only His coming, but also of the crucifiction right down to what the Roman soldiers would be doing at the foot of the cross.
Jesus was telling us that prophecy was being fulfilled. Psalms 22 was written more than one thousand years before the event.

Mal 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Mal 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Mal 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
Mal 4:4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
Mal 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
Mal 4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

In Luke 4:17, Jesus Himself quotes Isaiah in reference to His Mission, saying: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has annointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
He stopped in the middle of the reading because the last half wouldn't take place for a few thousand years.

Prophecies never refer to individuals by name. They are meant to be taken symbolically and their meanings are usually only apparent to those with an open heart and mind. There are numerous prophecies regarding the advent of Jesus, Muhammad, the Bab and Baha'u'llah in the Bible.
