Drinking is for the parent-teacher conference.
Heroin is for the PTA meeting.

Would you like the other parents to think poorly of you and by extension your son?
If yes, then drink to your hearts content. At worst you will have child services on your doorstep to make sure you're a fit parent.
If no, then have a couple of glasses of wine, along with everyone else.
Besides if it a PTA, the wine will be cheap and probably undrinkable anyway.

Why would anyone drink at a PTA meeting? I would think that the ususal coffee, tea, water etc. would be more appropriate. I definately would refrain from drinking and if other parents are drinking, I would suggest they do the same!!

Go for it. The PTA could use more alcohol at its functions. Tightest group of fascists on the planet. Bunch of Nurse Ratched types. Don't be one of them. Keep it reasonable.
Boys need a little danger, adventure, hooliganism to develop properly. If you put the clamps on it, you will be doing your son a disservice, and he will not be able to function well as an adult man.
Men need to be bold in this society. Men who are meek and cautious get no respect.

If by "driniking" you mean alcohol and this is a serious question. Then you truely are an unfit parent, I hope the government takes your kid(s) away.

At the meeting,....not such a good idea. Just have a couple at home before you go and drink a 3rd on the way in the car.

No really drink.. then maybe someone could see that you are not the best parent in the world and take your child from you.. Give me a break.. have you heard of AA.. find it.. it works!
