She is not in heat, because she is fixed. She has food in both her bowls, and she has fresh water upstairs and downstairs, her litter box is away from the flow of traffic. She just meows all the time even if I am petting her, she only seems to be quiet when she is sleeping. I love her to death it's just starting to bug me. She meows at everything. Something on the wall she meows, something on the floor she meows. I just don't understand it, I've never seen a cat meow so much!

Does she have plenty of stuff to do? She needs a cat tree, a scratching post, and some toys she can play with ( with or without you ). Also, she needs some places to hide. I had a cat once that liked to play hide and seek with me. Some cats love toys with catnip in them, but some are not affected by it at all. If she has a lot of Siamese in her she will meow more. That breed just likes to meow, just like some people seem to talk all the time. Talk back to her. My cat seems to answer me when I talk to him. We use to be in an apartment and he was always wanting something to do. Now we live in a rural community and he gets to go outside a lot. He is so much happier now. You didn't say how old your Kitty is, but she may quiet down a little as she gets older. Pay attention to her when you want to and have time to play and such, and then just kind of ignore her when your busy, then stop every once in a while to "talk to her", she will learn when to leave you alone. Oh, and when we lived in the apartment I didn't have to feed Sammy as much, but he liked fresh food and wouldn't eat it stale, so I would just give him about a quarter of a cup, and when that was empty, I would refill it. Don't ever get up in the middle of the night to feed or "tend" your cat. You become slave to them that way. Hope this helps a little. Blessings!

Some cats are more vocal than others. My cat had been vocal, but then lately (the past week or so) she has been meowing a LOT more often. She is healthy, has food and water and a clean litter box as well. She is just weird. If the meowing is really REALLY bad, you can use a squirt bottle on her to stop her from meowing. I usually only ever use the squirt bottle when she is clawing the furniture or something really bad, but if the meowing has to stop because she is keeping you up at night, or the neighbors are complaining, you can try it. Good luck!

You have a talker on your hands and there really isn't much you can do about it. Cats meow, maybe you should get a dog LOL.
Also, there are certain breeds of cats that are more talkitive than others, such as siamese for instance. Maybe you should put a birdfeeder outside the window so she can meow at the birds instead of you

whether it rather is a protracted, stressful, form of whiny sounds meow she's in all probability hungry, thirsty, bored, or merely wanting interest. in many circumstances in case you get up and start up strolling she'll the two lead you to the situation (a closed door, an empty nutrition bowl, and so on.) or supply you some indication that she needs interest like rubbing agains you or something like that. If that is purely a typical, short meow, she could desire to purely be an extremely vocal cat. If there is not any sign of inflammation, wellbeing issues, harm, or something like that, she's in all probability merely chatty.

Since you've taken her to the Vet and she's healthy the only thing I can think of is that you just have a talker on your hands.

We have four cats and one of them meows all the time.
Like you I took her to the Vet and he said that she's healthy and that the only thing wrong with her is that she's very vocal.

As far as way to stop it, to be very honest I don't think you can.
If she's vocal she's vocal and there's probably nothing you're going to be able to do.

Maybe u need to try and scold her so she stops? Try getting a water and spraying her with it when she starts meowing. Also if she is not meowing give her a treat to let her know she is doing well.
